Information: Lieutenant Arthur Samuel Montgomery, 5th Batt. Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, died from dysentery, contracted whilst on active service, at the 5th Canadian General Hospital, on June 21st, 1916. He was the only son of Mr. T. B. Montgomery and Mrs. Montgomery, Annerville, Clonmel, and was educated at Cheltenham, Glenalmond College, Perth, and Trinity College, Dublin. On the outbreak of the war he served for six months in the Remount Department and subsequently obtained his commission in the 5th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, with whom he sailed for Salonika in October last.
