Information: Captain Guy Wellesley Eaton, Royal Irish Fusiliers, who was killed in action on Sept. 7th, 1916, was the third son of the late Mr. R. A. Eaton and Mrs. Eaton, Blackrock. On July 11th last Captain Eaton was presented with a vellum certificate for gallantry, and for a subsequent act of gallantry was awarded the Military Cross. He was educated at St. Andrew's College, Dublin. On the outbreak of the war he joined Dublin University O.T.C., and was subsequently gazetted to the Royal Irish Fusiliers.
