Information: Second Lieutenant Geoffrey Joseph Hewison, Royal Munster Fusiliers, killed in action in France while leading a bombing attack, on the 15th July, 1916. He was the elder son of the late Edward Francis Hewison, of Dublin, for many years a prominent official in the Irish racing world, and of Mrs. E.F. Hewison, Laurel Cottage, Killowen, Co. Down. Lieutenant Hewison was educated at Clongowes Wood College, Sallins, Co. Kildare, and was 21 years of age.
