Information: Captain R.J. Smith, Lancashire Fusiliers, killed in action, was the eldest son of Mr. C. Smith, Jigginstown House, Naas, and brother of Mr. A. H. Smith, Princess Terrace, Cregaghroad, Belfast. The deceased officer was a Bachelor of Arts and an Associate of the Royal College of Science in Ireland. He was mentioned in Sir Douglas Haig's last despatch.
