Information: Captain Richard Arthur Stewart M.B., R.A.M.C. Special Reserve, attached 2nd Batt. Border Regt., was awarded the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry in establishing an aid post in a mine crater and tending the wounded under heavy shell fire, when his coolness and disregard of personal danger gave great confidence to those around him. Capt. Stewart is the youngest son of Mr. C.F. Stewart, D.L., Horn Head, Dunfanaghy, Co, Donegal.
