Information: Rev. John Vivian F. Gregg-MacGregor, 1st Field Ambulance Australian Imperial Force, was awarded the D.C.M. for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty on April 25th, 1915, in attending to the wounded under a continuous heavy shell and rifle fire. On the outbreak of the war he was Curate of St. Luke's Church, New South Wales, but at once joined the ranks and went to the front. He is a member of a well known Ulster family and a son of the late Rev. J. W. Gregg-MacGregor, M.A., I.L.B., formerly Vicar of Greystones, Co. Wicklow. He is now Captain and Chaplain at the 1st Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Hanfield Park, Middlesex.
