Information: Lieutenant W. Boyle Power, Royal Flying Corps, was killed on active service at Farnborough on July 17th last, while testing a new biplane in which he ascended to the height of about 1,500 feet. Lieutenant Power was an experienced first class pilot, whose duty it was to test the new machines for the Royal Flying Corps, and was remarkably proficient. He was the third son of Mr. William Power, Dingle Villa, Droitwich, and a nephew of Mr. D.J. Kelly, Dysart, Ballinasloe, and had practised as a Civil Engineer in Drogheda, from whence he joined the R.F.C. six years ago. Lieutenant Power was in his 29th year.
