Information: Captain Gilbert Watson Webb, Royal Irish Rifles, attached to the Royal Flying Corps, was a son of the late Mr. R. T. Webb and Mrs. Webb, Rath House, Knock, Belfast, and was educated at Campbell College. He obtained his commission in the Rifles in October, 1914, and was wounded on the 8th May, 1915, while serving with the 22nd Battalion. On recovering he transferred to the Royal Flying Corps, and took his machine out to France on the 4th May of this year, flying all the way. He was reported missing on the 1st July, and is now reported killed.
