Information: Second Lieutenant Laurence Elvidge, 5th Batt.Connaught Rangers, was killed in action on 9th August, 1916, aged 19 years. He was the youngest son of the late George Elvidge, of Dublin, and Mrs. Elvidge, Rathgar, Co. Dublin, and was educated at Earlsfort House School, and St. Columba's College, Rathfarnham. He was attached to the 1st Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers for a short time before his death.
