Information: Lieutenant A.H. Witherow, Royal Irish Rifles, died from wounds received in action on July 1st, 1916, in his 20th year. He was educated at Coleraine Academical Institution and Magee College, Londonderry. He had just entered his Divinity course when war broke out, and at once obtained his commission in the Royal Irish Rifles. Lieut. Witherow was a well known hockey and Rugby player and a keen sportsman. He was a cousin of Mr. A.H. Wray B.A., T.C.D., Londonderry.
