Information: Lieutenant Leslie Moffatt, Lancashire Fusiliers, was killed in action on August 13th, a short time after the death of his brother, Lieut. C. H. Moffatt, who was killed on August 1st. He joined the colours with his brother on the outbreak of the war and was subsequently gazetted to the 2nd Lancashire Fusiliers, with whom he went to France in November, 1915. He was wounded by a shell on August 13th, but gallantly continued to lead his men until again wounded mortally
