Information: Lieutenant Ion St. Clair Limrick, South African Infantry, only surviving son of the late Mr. W. T. Limrick and Mrs. Limrick, Glencar, Ballsbridge, Dublin, died on August 17th, 1916, from wounds received in action in East Africa. He served through the Boer War in the Border Scouts, and afterwards in Colonel Capper's Flying Column, and was awarded five medals. On the outbreak of the present war he obtained a commission in the South African Infantry, and later acted as Adjutant.
