Information: Second Lieutenant Edward W. Burke, Royal Fusiliers, attached Royal Flying Corps, was killed in action in France on 14th September, 1916, in his 18th year. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Burke, Cloonee, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo, and was educated at Malvern College. He entered Sandhurst in May, 1915, and received his commission in November, 1915.
