Information: Capt. John Pratt de Montmorency, R.N., has been twice mentioned in despatches, first by Lord French for Services in connection with the landing of the Indian Expeditionary Force in France, and secondly by Sir Douglas Haig for transport work at Marseilles, where he was principal Naval Transport Officer during the winter of 1915-16. He is the elder son of the Venerable Archdeacon de Montmorency, Castle Morres, Co. Kilkenny. He was educated at Arnold House School, and joined H.M.S. Britannia in 1887, receiving his promotion in 1905,
