Information: Second Lieutenant Stanley Chadwick Grant, Royal Irish Regiment, killed in action on his 22nd birthday, 3rd September, 1916, was the only surviving son of Mrs. E.F. Elsy, 1 and 2 Molesworth Street, Dublin. A former pupil of St. Andrew's College, Dublin, he was well known in the junior football and cricket teams. He enlisted on the outbreak of the war, and obtained his commission in May, 1915, from the Officers' Training Camp, France.
