Information: Captain John Reginald Jessop, was the fourth son of the late William and Mrs. Jessop, Bank Place, Maryboro'. He was educated at St. Andrew's College, Dublin, from where he joined the Provincial Bank, and afterwards transferred to the Canadian Bank of Commerce. On the outbreak of war he joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force, and was wounded last May. He had only returned to his Regiment three weeks when he was killed on October 6th.
