Information: Second Lieutenant Eric E. Craig, Royal Irish Rifles, who was killed in action on 30th August, 1916, was the son of Dr. James and Mrs. Craig, Carlisle Terrace, Londonderry. He was educated at Foyle College and Queen's University, Belfast, where he was a medical student. On the outbreak of the war he joined the Officers' Training Corps, and received his commission last December. He went to the front on 18th July as a Rifles officer, and was in his 21st year when he fell.
