Information: Second Lieutenant William Morgan, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, killed in action in France on the 9th September, 1916, was the eldest son of Mr. F. Morgan, 70 Stranmillis Road, Belfast. On the outbreak of the war he was in Canada, where he was engaged in a very successful business career, and offered his services by joining the 34th Fort Garry Horse as a private. He came over to England with the second contingent of the Canadians, and crossed with his Regiment to France, where he was transferred to Strathcona's Horse, with which he saw much service for fifteen months. In July, 1916, he received his commission, and was attached to the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.
