Information: Second Lieutenant James Lytton Millar, 5th Royal Irish Rifles, who was killed in action on 29th July, was the only son of Rev. and Mrs. Ross Millar, Hillmount, Letterkenny. This gallant young officer was educated at Campbell College, Belfast, and had matriculated in the Queen's University, intending to study medicine. He received his commission in November, 1915, and had only been six weeks at the Front when he was killed.
