Information: Lieut. Commander Clarence Alban Fulcher, R.N., H.M.S. President entered the Navy in 1887. In January, 1910, he was posted to H.M. Coastguard, Galway Division, and was in command of the Coastguard Station at Clifden. At the outbreak of the war he was given charge of the Radio Station at Clifden, and in December, 1915, was placed in command of H.M. Wireless Station at Scarborough. He was taken ill while on duty there in September, 1916, and was removed to the R.N. Hospital, Chatham, where he died on the 2nd October, 1916. He was a brother of Mr. Claude Fulcher, the well known Military Lecturer.
