Information: Second Lieut. Edward William Mather, Royal Engineers, who died on the 13th Oct., from wounds received in action, was the second and dearly loved son of the late E. W. Mather and of Mrs. Mather, Brookville, Edenderry, King's Co. He obtained his commission in 1915, and was only out in France since August 19th, 1916. He was wounded on the 11th Oct., and died twro days later. He married in August, 1915, the daughter of the late Garrett C. Tyrrell, J.P., F.S.I., Ballinderry, Carbery, Co. Kildare.
