Information: Second Lieutenant James Edward Fagan, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, was the eldest son of Mr. Con. Fagan, Lismacaffry, Westmeath. He was educated in Navan and Belvedere College, and subsequently went to the Argentine, where he held an important position at Santa Fe, which he relinquished to join for the duration of the war. He received a commission in the Inniskilling Fusiliers in September, 1915, and went to France in July, 1916, where he was killed on October 5th, 1916.
