Information: Lieutenant Francis Hubert Doyle, Army Veterinary Corps, who died on 12th October in hospital at Cairo, as the result of an accident, was the son of Mr. Joseph Doyle, Fairview. He obtained his degree in the Royal Veterinary College, Ballsbridge, Dublin, in July last, when he won the V.M.A. gold medal for gaining first place in the final professional examination. Lieut. Doyle had previously distinguished himself as an Intermediate exhibitioner in Blackrock College. He obtained a commission in the A.V.C. in August.
