Information: Second Lieutenant James K. Pirret, 11th Battalion King's Royal Rifles, who was killed in action in France, was the son of Mr. James Pirret, 43 Ardalee Avenue, Belfast. On the outbreak of the war he was in the employment of Messrs. Harland and Wolff, but quickly answered the call, and in November, 1914, joined the 8th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles.
