Information: Lieutenant Martin Michael Arthur Lillis B.L. M.A. T.C.D., youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Barry Lillis, Carrig, Queenstown, aged 26 years, has been killed in action in France. He entered Trinity College, Dublin, and took his degree there, and was called to the Bar in Trinity Term, 1913. On the outbreak of war he entered Sandhurst and was gazetted to the Royal Irish Regiment in September, 1915, and attached to the Royal Flying Corps. He had been flying in France since January, 1916, and was all through the Somme battle. He was home a few weeks ago on short leave, and returned to France and was through the big battle in the air on the 6th and 7th of April. He fell on April 11th, 1917, in the battle of Arras.
