Information: Lieutenant John Cromie, Norfolk Regiment, who has been awarded the Military Cross, is a son of Mrs. Cromie, 113 Fitzroy Avenue, Belfast. He was a member of the Queen's University O.T.C., and in June, 1915, received a commission in the Norfolk Regiment, He went to France in May, 1916, and in the following July was attached to a trench mortar battery. He has been through many engagements, and was recently wounded. Lieut. Cromie is a well known Rugby football player.
