Information: Captain Terence Fuller Stokes, Indian Army, was the son of Sir Gabriel Stokes, K.C.S.I., of Morehampton Road, and-grandson of Mr. J.F. Fuller, of Eglinton Road, and of Glashnacree, Co. Kerry. He was educated at Cheltenham College, from which he passed into Sandhurst as a King's Indian Cadet. He was gazetted to the 82nd Punjabis in 1912, and served with his regiment in Afghanistan and Mesopotamia, where he was wounded in 1915, but did not leave the front. He was again wounded while leading his Company on the left bank of the Tigris on February 5th, 1917, and died two days later.
