Information: Second Lieutenant Geoffrey Chasemore Burnand, Royal Flying Corps, was killed in France in an aerial battle on April 7th, 1917. He was the only son of the late Mr. Graham Burnand and Mrs. Burnand, of Doneraile, Co. Cork. He was educated at Cambridge University, after which he became Assistant Engineer on the Entre Rios Railway, South America, but relinquished his position in December, 1915, and returning home, obtained his commission in the R.F.C.
