Information: Lieutenant Arnold Lockhart Fletcher, Leinster Regiment, who died of wounds received in action in France on April 30th, 1917, in his 28th year, was the son of Mr. George Fletcher, of the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction, Dublin. Lieutenant Fletcher graduated in engineering in Dublin University, and was subsequently appointed assistant to the Professor of Geology in Trinity. He received his commission in the Leinster Regiment in April, 1915. Lieutenant Fletcher's brother, Lieutenant Donald Fletcher, died in Mesopotamia on April 28th, 1917, from wounds received in action.
