Information: Second Lieutenant William Addison Hone Moore, was killed in action on May 5th, 1917. Early in the war he volunteered in Canada, afterwards receiving a commission in the Essex Regiment. He was a son of Dr. F. Hone Moore, of Somersham, Hunts, and grandson of the late Revd. Thomas Moore, M.A., formerly rector of Cootehill. He had been only a short time at the front when he fell, in his 21st year.
