Information: Second Lieutenant Samuel F. Hill M.C., Royal Field Artillery, was recently awarded the Military Cross for exceptional coolness and devotion to duty when in control of his section. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Hill, 65 Leinster Road, Rathmines, and was educated at St. Andrew's College, Dublin. He acted as Motor Despatch Rider for nearly two years, and went through the battle of the Somme, being highly commended by his commanding officer and recommended for a commission in the Royal Field Artillery.
