Information: Second Lieutenant Reginald John Collier, Royal Flying Corps, was the only son of Mr. W.F. Collier, 123 Hamilton Road. Bangor, and grandson of the late Mr. W.F. Collier, LL.D., of Trinity College, Dublin, and Mr. Richard Newman Townsend, M.D., of Queenstown, a member of an old Co. Cork family. Lt. Collier was educated at Bangor Endowed Schools, and previous to joining the Army was on the staff of the Belfast Bank. He was accidentally killed whilst flying at Yatesbury, Wiltshire, on February 12th, 1918, in his 19th year.
