Information: Lieutenant Marcus Ralph Russell, Hussars, of Nahadmore, Moate, Co. Westmeath, who was killed in action on March 22nd, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell, of Mount Temple, Moate, and was in his 30th year. He was educated at Repton and Trinity College, Dublin, where he graduated. On the outbreak of war he volunteered for work at the Ballsbridge Remount Depot, and in 1915 he was gazetted to the Hussars, He had been in France since the beginning of 1917.
