Information: Captain D. Kennedy, R.A.M.C., attached Lancers, who has recently been awarded the Military Cross, is the son of Mr. James Kennedy, Arderrow, Cork. Captain Kennedy is a graduate of Queen's College, Cork, and specialised in sanatorium work for several years in Nordrach-upon-Mendip, and subsequently practised at Rugby. He obtained his commission in the R.A.M.C. in 1916, and received the M.C. for bravery in tending the wounded under heavy shell fire and by his devotion in saving many lives. Capt. Kennedy married in 1913 Louise Pauline, daughter of the late M. Edouard Bourseiller, Officer Ministerial Honoraire, Boulogne-sur-Seine, Paris.
