Information: Second Lieutenant Chester Bishop Kydd, Bedfordshire Regiment, who was killed in action in France, was the only son of Dr. J. P. A Kydd, Dunreeva, Coleraine, the ex-Chairman of the Congregational Union of Ireland. Lieutenant Kydd was educated at Larne Grammar School and the Coleraine Academical Institute. Shortly after the outbreak of war he volunteered for service, and had been at the front since July 1, 1916.
