Information: Second Lieutenant John Lowry, King's Shropshire Light Infantry, died in Salonica on 4th May of illness contracted on active service. He was the eldest son of Mr. John Lowry, 595 Woodstock Road, Belfast, and a nephew of Mr. J. H. Dunn, ot 24 Wellington Place, Belfast. He was a well known footballer, and was the fifth member of Cregagh F.C. to lose his life in this war. Second Lieutenant Lowry was also a very popular and successful breeder and racer of homing pigeons.
