Information: Second Lieutenant Brendan Hynds O'Ferrall, Royal Field Artillery, who was killed in action on August 16th, 1917, in his 22nd year, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael O'Ferrall, Fry Place, Athlone. He was educated at Clongowes Wood College and King's College, London. He adopted the engineering profession, and in November, 1915, joined the Inns of Court O.T.C. He was gazetted to the R.F.A. in November, 1916, and went to France in January last. Lieutenant O'Ferrall went through the fighting at Vimy and Messines Ridge.
