Information: Second Lieut. Richard Archer Walcott Martin, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, second son of Captain and Mrs. R. W. Martin, 25 Longford Terrace, Monkstown, Co. Dublin, educated at Pennington House, Bognor, held an appointment in the Western Telegraph Co. in Buenos Aires which he resigned to receive a commission in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Served in France from September, 1916, to 16th August, 1917, on which date he was killed in action. His younger brother, Second Lieutenant G. C. Martin, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, was killed in action, 3rd August, 1916.
