Information: Captain (Temp Lieut. Col.) P. J. M. Elvery D.S.O. M.C., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. William Elvery, Foxrock, Co. Dublin, has been on active service since January, 1915. He was through the heavy fighting of the second battle of Ypres, when he was M.O. to the 1st Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. On the 8th May, 1915, he was wounded and taken prisoner, but he was repatriated again the same year. After a short stay in Ireland he was sent out to join the Salonika Army. He was awarded the M.C. in 1915, and has now won the D.S.O.
