Information: Lieutenant R.B. Jennings, Royal Engineers, has been awarded the Military Cross for services in the field, and has also received a parchment certificate for the second time for gallant conduct and devotion to duty in June, 1917. He is son of Mr. J.R.B. Jennings, formerly Co. Inspector, R.I.C., for Waterford. Lieutenant Jennings had a brilliant University career in Cork, where he took out his Degree of Engineering, and was appointed engineer on the new ferroconcrete bridge at the Deeps, Wexford. He got his commission in the Royal Engineers and went to France with the 16th Irish Division in 1915.
