Information: Flight Sub Lieutenant R. F. L. Dickey, R.N.A.S., younger son of the late Professor Dickey, D.D., of McCrea Magee College, Londonderry, and Mrs. Dickey, of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, has been recently awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for a brilliant exploit in action with hostile aircraft. Particulars of the deed are at present a secret, but Mr. Dickey was honoured by a telegram from the King for his action. Since then he has been awarded a bar to his D.S.C. and has been mentioned in despatches for his work against enemy submarines.
