Information: Second Lieutenant Robert Addison Dickson, Royal Irish Regiment, was killed whilst leading his men in action on August 2nd, 1917. He was the son of Mr. John M. Dickson, 28 Wellington Park, Belfast, was educated at Dungannon Royal School and subsequently spent several years in America. He joined the Public Schools Corps in 1914, and after a year's service in France was gazetted to the Royal Irish Regiment in 1916. He received the parchment award for gallantry during the storming of Messines Ridge.
