Information: Second Lieutenant William W. Fitzgerald, Royal Flying Corps, who was killed in action in France on July 27th 1917, in his 22nd year, was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Fitzgerald, of Fairholme, Kill-o'-the-Grange, Co. Dublin. He was educated at Preston House and Aldenham Schools, where he was a member of the O.T.C. He joined the R.F.C. in 1915, and was given his commission in September. 1916. He was severely wounded in November, 1916.
