Information: Captain A.F. Bernard Shaw M.D., R.A.M.C., who has recently been specially mentioned in despatches by Sir Archibald Murray, Commander-in-Chief of the Army in Palestine was Assist. D.P.H. of Cardiff, but at the beginning of hostilities he immediately volunteered for service abroad. He is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, took his degree with honours (Senior Moderator) and is both gold and silver medallist of this University. Six months later he took a brilliant first in the Diploma of Public Health. Captain Bernard-Shaw served all through the Gallipoli from where he was invalided home, and later on in Gaza.
