Information: Second Lieutenant Noel Edmund Scott, Royal Engineers, was wounded in action on September 20th, 1917, and died the following day. He was the seventh and youngest son of Mr. Thomas Scott, 6 Fortfield Villas, Dartry Road, and was in his 25th year. He was a very promising student of architecture, having served his apprenticeship with Mr. Edwin Bradley, President of the Architectural Association of Ireland, subsequently becoming of his staff. Prior to the outbreak of war on the staff of Mr. Hynes, architect, Cork. He obtained his commission in the Royal Engineers in 1915, and was sent to France in July, 1916.
