Information: Lieutenant Ronald B.C. Kennedy, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. de Vere Kennedy, of Westown, Straffan, Co. Kildare, died on August 10th, aged 21 years, from illness contracted on active service in France, and was buried at Stradbally, Co. Waterford, on the 13th. He was educated at Clifton College, being in the cricket eleven and football fifteen. In September, 1914, he received a commission in the 6th Royal Dublin Fusiliers. He served during the Gallipoli campaign. On August 4th, 1916, he went to France as A.D.C. to Lieut. General Sir Edward Fanshawe, K.C.B.
