Information: Captain Clement Robertson, Tank Corps, was killed in action on October 4th, 1917, whilst gallantly leading his tanks up to the German position. He was the fourth son of Major and Mrs. Robertson, Stream Hill, Delgany, and was educated at Haileybury and Trinity College, Dublin. In 1914 he left the P.W.D., Egypt, and joined the Army. He received his commission in January, 1915, in the West Surrey Regiment, and went to France, where he was attached to the Duke of Wellington's Regiment. He subsequently volunteered for tunnelling operations and joined the Royal Engineers, with whom he worked until in January last he joined the Tank Corps. His three brothers are also serving.
