Additional information: Additional information supplied by Seth Speirs: Flight Lieutenant Noel Stafford Wright was serving with 1 (Naval) Squadron at the time of his death. Sadly. like many pilots of the time he was killed in a accident rather than by enemy action. His Sopwith Triplane (N5493) collided with a SPAD7 (B3503) piloted by Captain John Manley from 19 Squadron Royal Flying Corps. Both men were killed.
