Information: Second Lieutenant Charles Alexander Paul, Royal Irish Rifles, who is reported killed in action, was the second and only surviving son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Paul, Glenvale, Howth Road, Clontarf, his elder brother, Cecil, having been killed at Suvla Bay. Lt. Paul served through the Gallipoli Campaign, and subsequently obtained his commission in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers, being later transferred to the R.I. Rifles. He was recommended for honours for gallantry at Messines.
