Information: Capt. Samuel Valentine Morgan, Royal Irish Rifles, was killed in action in France on August 10th, 1917. Captain Morgan was well known in Dublin, and was one of the officers in Portobello Barracks during the rebellion who gave evidence before the Commission of Inquiry. Captain Morgan's wife resides at 9 Pump Court, Belfast. His brother was also killed in action.
